My employer gave me a large box of candy for Christmas, and I tried really hard to eat just one piece after dinner but would eat four. My best technique is only buying what I should eat. I have to hurry past the cookie and chips section at the grocery store so nothing leaps into my cart! I drink diet soda and diet iced tea, but I have to water down the iced tea because it still tastes too sweet. Natural peanut butter is sweet to me now and a spoonful is usually enough if I want a dessert. I do use Lakanto Monkfruit sweetener when I make holiday cheesecake, but in other uses it seems to overpower the other flavors. I have tried artificial sweeteners but they often have an off taste. ![]() I really don't crave sugar anymore so trying to replace it is not as much of an issue. I cut out sugar and most carbs almost completely in the summer of 2021 and it was the best thing I've ever done. What specific food/habit are you struggling with? How do you define the last mile? That might help give you better advice. More importantly, how did you cut sugar out completely? I'm really good, but have struggled to go the last mile. ![]()
